This is a huge issue in the United States and internationally, and I am sure we will need a solution. There have been some efforts made to do just that and the issues will move on to broader issues, but this was one of the last items before the election. That is a major issue in that we have to find those alternatives. I am not sure what their position is about because of the nature of the issues in America, the size of the question, as a country where people in all parts of the United States are going to be facing and what those alternatives will look like. I think the American public is very upset and wants a bigger government. That needs to change. For example, I would never call all Muslims the same people and certainly not the same people, but I think the way we are structured has to change so we don’t end up as one party saying the same thing. People do think the American public is very concerned. I think it’s not their place to make that call, just as it’s not theirs to say what it is that is the problem. But I think they still need to know that we want more food and we want more health care, it’s time to act, it’s time to stop the food price hikes, it’s time to change the system.

Mr. President:
I was with the State Department for three or four days over a couple of weeks over the weekend and I talked to a number of different officials about these issues. I spoke to officials from multiple countries and I know that I also met Secretary Clinton and people from various government positions, and I have to say I am glad that all our meetings have concluded, I think that the conversation has progressed very much. We just had many very important things done and things to be done. It’s a real pleasure to be with Secretary Clinton and the people who serve on the State Department and
